Warhost: A Grimdark Play-by-Post System

+++ What is Warhost? ++

Warhost is small [25 page] d100 play by post TTRPG system designed for delayed-response situations like forums and other such environments. It is meant for use in Warhammer 40,000 style settings -- space-gothic -- or other similar settings. It is organized in such a way as to allow the player to organize and operate a large combat formation without the heavy bookkeeping of more granular systems. It is specifically organized around forces of evil -- chaos in particular -- but could easily be adapted to forces of law and order and the like.

+++ How complex is Warhost? +++

All actions and combat are undertaken with 1d100 rolls. There is no need for highly complex calculation or reference unless the player in question would really like to get into the weeds of the system with respect to what is in their formation and the situation it is in. It is heavily narrative in structure and favors complex narratives about horrific battles and strange armies.

A combination of troop archetypes, rules of play, and a basic 'formation' sheet -- basically an auto-calculating character sheet in typical TTRPG games.
